New Year's Resolutions:

Well, friends, Christmas Day came and went. It was remarkably uneventful, as everybody came a few days after Christmas and exchanged gifts. I got some teas and clothing and money.

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day also came and went uneventfully. I amn't a party-going person, so I didn't attend any festivities. I did stay up past midnight, as is my custom, and drank an entire bottle of sparkling grape juice, and had some cheese and crackers.

Now that 2019 is here, and now that I am back at school, I turn to the notion of New Year's Resolutions.

I've never been a stickler for resolutions of this sort, or of resolutions in general. All of the resolutions I tend to make are half-baked, and half-remembered, and go off half-cocked when the time comes to fulfill them. Ergo, I have generally left off making resolutions, but recent events in my academic and personal life have caused me to reconsider my stance.

Without further ado, here are some resolutions for the New Year (albeit a bit late in their announcing.)

1. Pull my grades back from the abyss of academic probation
2. Declare my major
3. Look into studying abroad
4. Head to the gym, lose weight, get fit
5. Get a job and save up several hundred dollars
6. Make more recordings and post them to Newgrounds
7. Publish more poetry

Here's hoping I can make these resolutions come true!
